By Train

Manchester is just over two hours from London by train, with direct services from major UK cities.

Arrive at Piccadilly or Victoria stations and hop on a Metrolink tram to the city centre.
Manchester Central is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute taxi from Piccadilly, or just 5 minutes on foot from Oxford Road Station.

By Plane

Manchester Airport, just nine miles from the city centre, offers direct flights to over 200 destinations, including nine in the US.
Reach the city in around 25 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes via the frequent express train (£3–£4).
