Tell us about yourself and your brand. How long have you been in business?

My name is Mandy Gui, and I’m part of the Business Development team at PICK4U LTD, based in the UK.

 

How did your company begin?

PICK4U LTD is a growing furniture manufacturer and trader. Although we are a relatively new presence in the  market, we’ve already gained exciting momentum — including support from major furniture show teams, the opportunity to participate in key industry events, and solid backing by retailers and furniture agents.

 

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

Find something you're passionate about—and pursue it consistently, without hesitation or limitation

 

Could you share details about any new collections or ranges you’ll be showcasing at the Manchester Furniture Show?

At MFS, we are excited to showcase a range of smart, functional furniture at our stand. Our featured products will include recliner sofa sets, functional sofa beds, and lift-and-rise chairs with heating and massage functions for enhanced comfort and usability. 

 

Do you have any personal favourites in your latest collection?

I would say the garden furniture line—perfectly suited for the summer season. To embrace the July vibe, we’ll also have an outdoor lounge area at the show featuring our outdoor sets, providing a relaxing space for visitors to rest and experience our products firsthand.

 

What are you most looking forward to at the show?

I'm really looking forward to seeing industry friends and clients at the show. As we all know, it's not always easy to meet in person regularly, so events like this are such a great opportunity to catch up, share insights—and hopefully have a bit of fun too!

 

Have there been any highlights for you over the past year that you’d like to mention?

Joining Pick4U last year has been a vital step in my career development in the UK. It’s opened the door for me into the furniture and interior industry, which has been both exciting and challenging in a very positive way.

I enjoy solving challenges, staying on top of trends, and embracing the fact that no two days are ever the same—it’s exactly the kind of lifestyle and work style I’ve been looking for.

 

Where do you see the furniture industry heading? Are there any styles or trends making a comeback, or any designs you think are least likely to return?

I would say styles toward modern and contemporary, with a focus on modular and multifunctional designs. I'm also excited about furniture enhanced by smart technology that brings more convenience and comfort to everyday life.

 

What's next for your company?

Our goal is to consistently support retailers in expanding their product offerings through competitive trade pricing and flexible, small-batch supply solutions. We also collaborate with interior design projects, providing tailored furniture solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional needs.
