Tell us about yourself and your brand. How long have you been in business?

Le Feu is a Danish company specializing in eco-friendly and design-centered bio-fireplaces. Established in 2017, we’ve grown to become a trusted name in the industry, delivering sustainable and stylish heating solutions to homes worldwide.

For generations, the Lauritsen family has worked with fireplaces and wood stoves, creating warm gathering spaces in Danish homes. As part of the third generation, Søren Lauritsen naturally became part of this warm universe, having spent his childhood exploring his grandfather’s fireplace store. Le Feu is a Danish company established in 2017. Le Feu was born out of a desire to create an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireplaces. Combining Scandinavian design principles with innovation, we developed bio fireplaces that bring warmth and elegance without the need for a chimney or wood-burning. today, they are sold in 32 countries worldwide.

Could you share details about any new collections or ranges you’ll be showcasing at the January Furniture Show?

We’ll be showcasing our iconic fireplaces, which continue to captivate with their timeless design. Additionally, we’re excited to present our new outdoor product range, including a pizza oven and patio heater, designed to bring warmth and functionality to outdoor living spaces.

Do you have any personal favourites in your latest collection?

One of my favorites is the Le Feu Eye with the new mocha colour, which has also been named the Color of the Year for 2025. Why? Where do you see the furniture industry heading? Are there any styles or trends making a comeback, or any designs you think are least likely to return?

The furniture industry is moving towards sustainability and multifunctional designs, with consumers placing greater value on eco-friendly solutions and adaptable pieces that suit diverse spaces. Organic shapes and natural materials are experiencing a strong resurgence, reflecting a desire for warmth and connection to nature in interior design. At Le Feu, our customizable fireplaces align perfectly with this trend, offering consumers the flexibility to create pieces that suit their individual needs and style preferences.
