IMM Cologne 2025 has been cancelled with event organisers and key associations citing the difficult economic and furniture market conditions in Germany, whilst acknowledging the importance of being able to provide a platform for the international furniture industry to meet. This now positions January Furniture Show (JFS) as the first international furniture show on the global event calendar in 2025.

Located conveniently in the centre of the UK, JFS benefits from being able to offer access to the unique British furniture market. As the sixth-largest economy in the world, valued at $3.495 trillion, the UK saw consumers spend over £25 billion on furniture and furnishings in 2023. It is also the third-largest furniture importer globally, boasting 9,944 furniture shops, which surpasses Germany by 2,000 stores. This growing expenditure creates lucrative opportunities in the UK home furniture market.

JFS 2025 will take place from 19–22 January at the NEC Birmingham in the UK, and is perfectly timed in Q1, when buyers are actively seeking purchases. The show is delighted to welcome a range of international brands exhibiting exclusively at the show who have all found their experience valuable.
