Furniture Feature: Creativ KS Ltd
Tell us about yourself and your brand. How long have you been in business?
Creativ KS Ltd has been part of the manufacturing industry for over 33 years. The company originally specialised in refrigerated display cases, which remained a core strength for many years. Over time, this expertise expanded into full interior furnishing solutions for cafés, restaurants and bars, as well as upholstered furniture production.
For the past eight years, Creativ KS Ltd has focused on exporting high-quality tabletops, crafted using a refined combination of materials including solid wood, plywood, metal, brass, copper, glass and ceramics. Alongside this, the company has developed a range of original table base designs to complement its tabletops and meet a wide variety of project needs.
How did your company begin?
The business began as a small family-run operation, created to meet demand for locally produced refrigerated display cases and specialist equipment for shops and pastry stores in Bulgaria. That early focus on craftsmanship, reliability and technical expertise continues to define the company today.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to your younger self?
We would say it’s essential to find the right balance between work and personal growth. One of our core values has always been working closely with talented professionals and giving them space to develop, as our business is built on collaboration and teamwork.
Could you share details about any new collections or ranges you’ll be showcasing at the January Furniture Show?
At the January Furniture Show, we will showcase our greatest strength: the ability to combine a wide variety of materials and textures within a single design. Our tabletops blend wood with glass, brass, copper, metal and ceramics, carefully balanced to deliver both visual harmony and long-lasting functionality.
Do you have any personal favourites in your latest collection?
Our favourite pieces feature a wooden frame with brass accents and either a glass or ceramic core. These designs offer endless possibilities through variations in colour, thickness and texture, making each tabletop distinctive and adaptable.
What are you most looking forward to at the show?
We’re looking forward to meeting new partners and suppliers, particularly designers whose ideas we can help bring to life, and distributors seeking a reliable subcontractor for the supply of high-quality tabletops.
Have there been any highlights for you over the past year that you’d like to mention?
Over the past year, we’ve made significant investments in new technology to enhance both production capacity and quality. This includes five new machines: a 3D printer, laser engraving and cutting system, advanced laser welding technology, precision metal cutting equipment and a high-accuracy circular saw. These additions allow us to deliver greater precision, flexibility and efficiency.
Where do you see the furniture industry heading?
We believe the industry is moving toward greater personalisation, sustainability and craftsmanship. Custom, high-quality pieces made from mixed materials are increasingly valued. Styles combining natural wood with glass, metal and ceramics are gaining momentum, while low-cost, mass-produced furniture is becoming less appealing to today’s consumers.
What’s next for your company?
We’re entering an exciting phase of growth. Our production facility is currently being restructured with eco-friendly heating solutions, workspace improvements and targeted renovations to support higher efficiency and sustainability.
At the same time, our team is expanding with the addition of an architect, a product designer, and skilled metal and wood specialists. These developments position us to take on larger, more complex and design-led projects. Looking ahead, our focus is on building long-term partnerships with new clients—especially those we hope to meet at JFS.
