MFS is back by popular demand!
As the UK's second biggest furniture show with a rich 27-year history, MFS serves as the ultimate summer sourcing destination for the industry. Retailers, designers, manufacturers and more can refresh their collections and be inspired with over 25,000 products on offer whilst connecting with the furniture industry for this social, summer sourcing event.
The industry asked…and Manchester Furniture Show (MFS) is finally back! Following a five year hiatus, July is about to get lively once again as MFS returns to the iconic Manchester Central from 10-11 July. As the 2nd biggest UK furniture show having run for over 27 years, MFS will provide the industry’s one-stop shop for summer sourcing. Over 2 days retailers will have the chance to recharge their collections from over 25,000 products and reconnect with 100+ manufacturers and furniture suppliers.
Perfectly timed, MFS will offer visitors a handpicked collection of brands to explore with top names already set to exhibit including Blue Bone Imports, Cowthorpe Oak Furniture, Creation Italia/Incanto, Heritage Furniture, Kettle Home, La-Z-Boy, Lebus Upholstery, Mini Divani and many more. Top buyers from the likes of Argos, Bensons for Beds, British Garden Centres, DFS, Dunelm, Furniture Village, Habitat, Homebase, Marks & Spencers, NEXT, Oliver Bonas, The Very Group, Wayfair and more. Jeff Hughes from Housing Units have already expressed his delight at the show’s return, ‘The Manchester show is a no-brainer for us and we’re glad it’s back as buying for us is a 365 day affair, not seasonal in any way.’
Following on from the success of JFS, new features such as Product Focus will be available to provide cost effective exhibiting opportunities. The VIP Hosted Buyers Program will also be offered targeting key Irish and Scottish buyers, as well as extended opening hours to maximise order taking across the 2 days.
MFS is as much about sourcing as it is about networking. Known as the industry’s most sociable trade show, the MFS Summer Solstice Party and the Women in Furniture Network Brunch are opportunities not to be missed. Both events offer visitors and exhibitors alike the chance to take the time to connect and meet in a relaxed and vibrant setting.
Zoe Bonser, Clarion Retail’s Portfolio Director, can’t wait for the team to return to Manchester saying ‘The team are very excited to return to Manchester for this much beloved show. As a key show in the industry calendar, MFS will once again be the hottest summer show with top brands on hand to help inject new life into retailers collections. We can’t wait to open the doors once again at Manchester Central and look forward to seeing you all there.’
