The NEC is connected to Birmingham International Airport by a free and fast air-rail link.
It runs every 2 minutes, taking just 90 seconds to travel between the airport Terminal 1 (upper level) and Birmingham International train station.

The NEC, Birmingham
It’s fair to say a lot has changed since HM The Queen officially opened the NEC in 1976. We’ve grown significantly in size and reputation for starters, to become the UK’s number one venue of choice for organisers, exhibitors and visitors. We originally had seven exhibition halls - today we have 18. Not to mention 32 conference suites and a host of additional outdoor spaces.

Staying in Birmigham
There are many options across the NEC if you need a place to lay your head. The Hilton and Crowne Plaza Hotels are a short walk from your event, as is the luxury 4-star Genting Hotel. If you’re thinking of something even more unique, choose one of the five-star suites, with panoramic lakeside views. Plus we now have the new 224-bedroom Moxy Hotel situated between the NEC and the lake so you can stay even closer to the action.
